One down off Barwon Heads
A number of people are believed to have died in a plane crash at Barwon Heads on Friday.
Emergency services are on the scene after a plane crashed into the water near Bridge Road at 1.30pm.
A police spokesperson said that it was believed "a number of people" had died in the crash.
"The cause of the incident is not yet known and we will provide further details once they come to hand," a spokesperson said in a statement.

I believe the gyroscope got stuck in the pitot tube and precession caused the latitude nut to spill into the empennage.

No I'm not a troll, I actually hold a frozen ATPL...(missed by 100hrs) f'ing Part 61. That should be enough proof for you.
BTW that's an interesting place to put a gyro!!! Must be a small one.

So, you hold a PPL or CPL with passes in ATPL theory?
There is no such thing as a "frozen ATPL" in Australia (except on a few training websites flogging the idea).
It might be 'old industry speak' in the USA, but has no meaning here
