Heard these guys are a great mob to work for, does anyone know more about them?

Worked for them for about 5 years. They are a great outfit to work for, challenging flying at times but you do get a great grounding.

Pay well for GA in NZ, not much flying, usually about 300 hours a year and very seasonal, expect to work hard during the summer and then take your holidays in winter.

Have an interesting fleet mix, but expect to do a few years in the GA8 before you get a chance to fly the C208 or N24.

You'll also be required to be at the airport for work, even if the weather is rubbish, so if you've got other skills outside of aviation they will be put to great use. If you don't have any other skills, at the least you will cut firewood to keep everyone warm in winter.

Best thing to do is pop in for a visit and a cup of tea, if you don't drink tea you should, if you can't make a suitable pot of tea, you'll have no chance. Most people who end up working there are usually well known to the guys down there and have spent a fair bit of time stopping for a tea if you are passing through.
