Oil analysis,,

Exactly what I have been trying to do lately,,
In the past (10 years ago)we sent samples to Mobil who checked the sample and notified us of the oil analysis results each 100 hours.

We are now finding that not very many companies do it any more.

But believe Pratt and Whitney are starting to set up "oil testing" for the larger turbine engines (PW100 series), and may start on the PT6A series latter.

My belief is that is is a worthwhile investment, piston or turbine.

Good luck and let us know how you go!

Blackstone Laboratories in Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA.

I have used them for a few years now.
