Dual GPS

I purchased a new iPad Air 2 today. It won't establish a Bluetooth connection with my Dual 150 GPS receiver. Can anyone help please?

There has been a problem with all Bluetooth GPS connection with IOS version 8.3. It has been fixed with the update of IOS to 8.4.
Thus possibly your new iPad has IOS 8.3. If it does an update to IOS 8.4 should/may resolve the problem.

Thanks but I am running iOS 8.4.1 which is the latest. The GPS runs correctly on my old iPad which is also running iOS 8.4.1

Is your old iPad still alive and on? The Dual will only connect to one iPad at a time (unlike the Bad Elf Pro). "Forget" it on the old one ipad and then try again.

1/Only the iPads with SIM cards and cell data capability have a inbuilt GPS.
or
2/ some of us need a Garmin Glo GPS or similar because the inbuilt GPS won't receive through the cockpit windows on most Jets....

And yes the Garmin is way more accurate, 5m accuracy most times.
Ok
