North Shore start up - Auckland

Anyone else seen the new startup in Auckland? Seems to have a tidy Navajo offering transfers/charters and scheduled flights.

I think they only have a facebook page for now. North Shore Air is the name.

Yes saw an article on Sunlive which said that they made a proving flight last week and are in the final phases of getting CAA accreditation. They plan to use a minivan to run into Auckland CBD from Dairy Flat using the bus lanes.
Proposing to run scheduled and charter services between Tauranga ans Dairy Flat.

Very interesting, hope they do well out of it.
Salt Air had a similar set up from Kerikeri and Whangarei into North Shore airport a few years back with their caravan.

What ever happen to their caravan anyway? From what I've seen it's been replaced by a much less capable "van"
