Aviation expert knows what investigators will focus on.

When asked live, on Channel Seven Australia afternoon news, "what are the possible causes" to the A320 accident, aviation editor Geoffrey Thomas said and I para-phrase, "we believe investigators will focus on blocked sensors."

For around two minutes he went on to link the 4000ft deviation on the A321 to this accident.

He spoke of no other potential causes.

When asked by the presenter to clarify the safety of A320 as the public could be worried, he explained they were very safe (despite earlier talking as if there was a systemic issue with airbus sensors). Quite confusing for the viewer!

In a reply to a question of its age of 24 years, he said they can fly on for "two or three times" that period.
