Just curious
Firstly, apologies if this is the wrong thread (spotter's thread didn't seem appropriate).
This morning at West Beach,Adelaide I heard a radial engined aircraft and went outside to see what it was.It looked like a CAC Boomerang,it was painted in a dark green colour and it was coming in off the ocean at relatively low level, heading NE.
A magnificent sight.Does anyone know where this aircraft is based ? Parafield ?

Thanks Cessna, but it didn't look like a Nanchang.
I reckon it was most likely the Boomerang from the Classic Jets Fighter Museum at Parafield, one of 2 still flying worldwide.
* Ready to be shot down in flames on that assumption though

VH-XBL is a CAC Boomerang based at Parafield. It went for a coastal flight this morning. I caught up with the pilot after he returned. Coastal southbound and then northbound at 500ft.
