CAPTAIN LEN MURPHY

Sad to report the passing of Captain Len Murphy. After several years RAAF service in the early 1950's and a stint as a Patrol Officer in PNG, Len joined the fledgling TAA in 1955 flying DC3's in around outback Queensland then back home to Melbourne flying Convair's, Electra's, DC9's and 727's and finally his favorite mount the then new A300 in 1980. Retiring in the mid 1980's and returning as a A300 Sim instructor for several more years.
I salute you Len, my Friend, Mentor and the most professional Instructor I ever had the pleasure to work with.
Condolences to Lo and family.

One of nature's gentleman who helped me in many ways in my TAA service. God Bless Him, we should have had him cloned!

Jimmy.
