Question Any aircraft available for aerial survey?

Hi folks,

First time poster so I apologise if I am out of line posting such a question. The trouble is, I am really stumped.

I'm looking to find fixed wing aircraft around Australia suitable for aerial survey work. I am looking to mount a downward-facing camera and a LiDAR sensor. An ircraft with an aperture of about 500mm cut in the floor should do the trick. Can anyone give me some leads on who might operate such aircraft around the country? I'm looking at singles and light twins preferably.

Many thanks.

Heaps of C172's have that hole, whether it is large enough I'm not sure. C206 prob as well. Also PN68 (twin). A few companies at Archerfield (Brisbane) have these planes. There's a company in Moree, not sure of their name though, that does a lot of aerial stuff.

The only aircraft that I have seen that can carry both a camera and LiDAR sensor was a C404. I am assuming that the camera is of survey quality. The equipment associated with both systems is quite weighty when both are carried. I know of one C404 with the requisite holes for both systems but do not have the contact details for the owner.

The only aircraft that I have seen that can carry both a camera and LiDAR sensor was a C404.
There are a few integrated LiDAR/Camera systems about, single A4-sized aperature required in the aircraft.

If your "really stumped" then your not a professional, your a time waster.. or your in some far flung country quoting for a pie in the sky job that will never get off the ground!
Anyone that has spent time in the industry knows that PPRuNe is not the place to get this info.. you'll only find more pie in the ski-ers
