Maintenance tracking programs

I think the time has come to retire the maintenance tracking whiteboard and bound blindly into the technological age.

The ever increasing list of AD's, SID's etc is making tracking of maintenance more complicated and lengthy now days.

Does anyone out there know of any good program's that basically just tracks each aircraft that is web based so end of each day pilots at other bases can update hours and snag lists to a central point for the HAAMC to review each morning and so at a glance he will be able to better plan maintenance? Hopefully it doesn't cost a fortune.

Seems to be heaps of American programs out there that I have looked at, however they don't really translate to OP's in Australia or are designed for maintenance orgs with all the bells and whistles. Just need to replace the excel MRL with something a bit more advanced with upload capacity and warnings.

If you have seen or your company use a good program can you direct me to a website or link to have a look at.
