Bizjet Factory maintance Programes.

Cessna has a Pro Parts maintenance deal, where I gather you pay a per hourly fee for for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, similar to power by the hour for engines.

My question is do these programs work well for purely private owners who may only do 100 hrs a year or are they more suited to high utilisation charter aircraft. The pro parts literature says a minimum 150hrs per year is charged.

Some do and some don't. Some programs have minimum hours per month and some don't. It also depends on the aircraft. A new flap motor may cost $40K - $240K so it depends if you want to self insure or not. Most of the programs don't allow for bird strikes and other things... always check the fine print. Feel free to message me and I'll give you my number to discuss
