$200 Fee for Documents

I have been contacted by one of my former international students that asked me about the fee that a well known and long established flying school is charging to have some documents and licence "attested"

What i want to hear from you guys and girls is wether your school charges former students who have paid anywhere from $40K - $65K to complete their licences and ratings with their school.

I would also like to hear from operators who do or do not charge this fee.

I am all for a fee for service, but do wonder about this fee after someone has already spent so much money.

Yes I realise that it may take a little time to confirm the information on the certificates that was provided as templates is actually accurate. In most flying schools that should be a few clicks of a button. Others may have to pull records out.

So is $200 a fair price or is it a blatant price gouge getting that last few cents out of a former students.
