Hi guys,
Does anyone know if one does a Cessna Citation CE 560 Rating, are you able to CCQ or bridge course to similar models like airbus? Or does each type have a stand alone rating like boeing?

I see.. Its for an Australian based operation but the ratings are done in the states. So technically if i get the rating on my FAA license Il be eligible to use on the types you mentioned but only within the US? correct?
Depends on which aircraft you use to do the rating in. If as Kagamuga says is correct and CASA agree that a 550 is also suitable for a 560 then if you do your rating in the US in either a 550 or 560 you'll be fine. If you do it in the US in a 500 or 501 then in the US you're covered for them but when you convert over to the CASA Licence it'll only count for the 500 or 501.

CE-550 Rating
The rating would be done on a CE-560 sim and the line training would be the same aircraft too. So which in this case it would cover me for the 550 in Aus like you said, and if FAA would cover me for 500 and 501 respectively!
So what would be the best way to tackle this so I get the maximum benefit out of the whole sim training? Meaning - is there anything I can add on to the sim training while Im there later on down the track in terms of looking attractive later down the track!

This is what the listing says. Looking at this list i think i did forgot to insert a vital piece of info. Which is the fact that its a Citation 2 560.
550 - Citation II - Cessna 550/560 (PWC JT15D)
S550 - Citation S/II
560 - Citation V
560 - Citation Ultra
The model labelling system is far too complicated if ur new to the Cessna it seems!!

If you do a CE500 series rating (CE500,501,550,560) in the USA, you get a CE500 rating on your license - regardless of which aircraft the test was in.
When I converted my license in Oz, they initially issued me with a C500/501 endorsement.
I sent CASA my training report from flight safety indicating I had done the course in a CE550 with Bravo differences, whereupon they immediately re-issued my license with the C550/560 endorsement included.
(Oh, and Citation II is a 550 - not a 560 ;-))
