Cobham's Maintenance base CBR, did it happen??

Hi,
Can anyone confirm whether the Cobham 717 maintenance facility in CBR ever took off??
I applied for a position and heard nothing? I believe they were planning on doing A checks and now it is only going to a line station and they are manning it using engineers from other stations.

Any truth to the rumour??

I'm pretty sure QLink Engineers are looking after the A-Checks and line maintenance on the 717s in CBR using the exisiting QLink hangar. A bunch are going/went to Perth and getting signed off on the type.

Line maintenance by Cobham and other maintenance for the Canberra based aircraft by QLink for the time being.

Thanks for the feed back, could not get anything out of the HR department.
Guessing that's why they reduced the number of engineers they required!
Do you think that might change in the near future, or will Qantas link take over even more of the maintenance.
Any info would be great, as trying to way up what my options might be.
Thanks
