Cessna vs Jabiru

This is on the ATSB website:

AO-2013-205
The Cessna 152 on approach collided with the departing Jabiru J160. The J160 made a hard landing and sustained serious damage. The C152 conducted a go around before making a normal landing.
The investigation is continuing.

How come VH-XXX missed it?

XXX didn't miss it, he just knows when to keep quiet for a number of reasons

The last time I failed to post about a crash near Tyabb I bought the wreck off the insurance company for next to nothing, so sometimes it pays to keep your mouth shut

So are you putting in an offer on the 152 or the 160?

They won't be up for offer I'm afraid. Minor damage contrary to the ATSB report.

The best part about repairing a Jab is that the parts are all currently available, you ring up and they have arrived a couple of days later; makes for a much easier repair not having to create things on the fly. It's a shame because this Jab was on the market and a sale was likely imminent. Maybe it's now a good donor aircraft for a 912

I think I'm missing some context here, but no, it wasn't me.

The best part about repairing a Jab is that the parts are all currently available
The worst part is once you repair it then you have to fly a Jab..
