Another round of outstanding work AS.

I think I know one of your customers, or perhaps he bought a couple of them?

I'd love to see the 787 in JQ livery.

Might hang it on my home office wall!

Thanks people for the comments.

Yes,Jaba,we do have a mutual acquaintance....he now owns four of my paintings.

Thanks Dr Oakenford...glad you recognised the background. I had it on public display last weekend and an ex B727 pilot was admiring it,but couldn't place the background.....I was worried.

Green Goblin...it's in the pipeline,but,....so many aeroplanes,so little time. I'm considering buying a second paintbrush.

StallsandSpins, short answer,yes....but let's not degrade this thread with advertising. I'll PM you my website.

Regards,Alan Spears

Truly an amazing talent.

Your ability to actually PAINT AIRCRAFT accurately is what makes you stand apart from other aviation artists. The aircraft always look true to form.

You will be hearing from me in the future!

Great work Aye Ess! But what's the streak down the middle of the floatplane pic?

DF.

P.S. If I could paint half as good as you I'd be happy!

Thanks Oh for sure....I'm blushing.

Desert Flower....on the actual reference photo there is a rainbow. Unfortunately, opaque artist colours do not photograph well and it appears as an ugly smudge. The actual painting (now owned by Ppruner Piano man) has a slight rainbow. Wish I'd photographed it before I put it in.

I thought that it might have been a rainbow, but as the rest of the sky seemed to be quite blue it had me wondering.
My artistic talents go as far as painting a mural of cats, which hangs on the fence of our block. There are a lot of very artistic people living in my town, & there are murals hanging on fences everywhere.

'AE' yr paintings are just awful, no body should buy them & you have far too many......................................then all mine will be worth squillions as they will be rare
One more to go for me 'AE' then my career will be caught on canvas as originals probably to be throw in the bin by my children when I go to that big hangar in the sky (or the hot one down below)
Perhaps 4get the 2nd paintbrush 'AE' as it's not normal to be doing these 24/7 so join one of the dating sites & let luv replace yr worn out brush

My brilliant computer geek son has done an erasing job on the rainbow....

AS........

Mrs Jaba said......"ya make a pretty good artist for a pilot"

She says, Planes, Trains, Lighthouses, Outback homesteads, under H20, now ferries...........even Bovines chased by FTDK's. We are yet to find your weakness!

I still have no idea how you painted those flags on the gear doors of John Deakins V Tail.

Desert Flower.....I have a dream.... that one day travelling this wide, brown, mysterious land, painting paddlewheelers, aeroplanes, old buildings, bridges and lighthouses. One day.....

Jaba....Mrs Jaba is such a nice person, tell her thanks. Yes that flag on the undercarriage door did require a brand new, sharp fine brush and a magnifying glass.
