Came across a 3 part series about the "Air Transport Auxiliary" on YouTube called "Forgotten Pilots", type in Forgotten Pilots & take the time to view it.....................another world, another time!

We ought not to forget but time marches on & these stories will fade:-(

Good One Wal.

I attend a monthly group meeting at JT, and we have as many of these WW2 and other 'interesting' people as we can get to give a small presentation in an informal atmosphere.

Very interesting - and entertaining also....

They're not forgotten - but they certainly are becoming 'fewer'.....
