Air Whitsunday Seaplanes 40th birthday celebrations
This year on the 19th April the most iconic seaplane company in Australia turns the big 40 
and we would like all past employees and associates of Air Whitsunday to join in the celebrations.
A weekend of activities is being coordinated to mark the milestone, commencing on Friday the 19th of April with a BBQ lunch at Happy Bay on Long Island where it all began. A cocktail party will be held on the Friday evening in the Air Whitsunday Terminal. Saturday the 20th will feature a social catch up and memorabilia display at the terminal during the day followed by a formal dinner in the evening.

Wish I did have some photos...
Took my brand new bride for a joy-flight from Happy Bay resort around about 27/11/73 in a Lake Buccaneer with Kevin at the controls......but the most spectacular memory of that day was his attractive assistant in her "tan -through " bikini!!!
Mind you it was a wonder I wasn't too blurry eyed to notice!
