Grant Denyer, Funny as....

Apparently, this has gone viral. (Yup, another one.)

Moment Weatherman Grant Denyer passes out in stunt plane on Live TV 2/19/2013 - YouTube

Still think this one sets the standard though...

He can be.

Other times he is quite good and he certainly has some
balls considering the stunts he has done, most of which
are world records.

There is another posting of the same clip though that has 70,000+ views. So viral, probably yes!

Races at Bathurst,
Wants to have a go at 8 g's,
I had to laugh when I saw a rival weather dude (another person of *ahem* smaller stature) standing next to a monster truck paddock claiming, "We go where other weather forecasters fear to tread."

Grant busted his back jumping one....

Seen worse presenters...

The weather segment on any commercial crap TV station/s is for entertainment value only, no more no less.

I hope he was watching the G meter

The Extra 300 is stressed for ±10 G with one person on board and ±8 G with two. Some Extra 300s are certificated in the Experimental Category in the U.S., while others are certificated in the Aerobatic category.[2]
From Wikipedia. Grant only counts as .5 of a pax

8G is certainly a fair bit for any length of time without a G suit. Good on him.

Makeithappen

I was going to put his racing career. He is a fully qualified driver
and I think races Holden Utes plus Bathurst.

He does make the weather interesting and certainly fits with
the Seven "team" quite well.

He's probably experienced 8g once before (in a different direction)....The time he put Dick Johnsons V8 Supercar into the wall at Adelaide a few years back.

Thumbs up

I love how Denyer is out like a light and Matt Hall is chatting away like it's a 1.2G 40 degree angle of bank roll.

I was impressed how Denyer was chatting away shortly after like nothing had happened. I haven't blacked out in an aircraft before however I would think I'd take longer to recover than he did.

Recovery from G-LOC is normally pretty quick. There are lots of videos online that show how quickly people come back once the G comes off.
