Word is that the GG has signed the Flight Crew Licencing CASRs into law.
Seagull was beginning to think that he would not live long enough to see the day.

Subject: Flight Crew Licensing Regulation Suite - CASR Part61, 64, 141 and 142

CASA advises theFlight Crew Licensing Regulation Suite was signed by the Governor General on 14February 2013 (effective date 4 December 2013).
This regulation suite includes the following CASR Parts:
CASR Part 61 - Flight Crew Licensing
CASR Part 64 - Authorisations for non-licensed personnel
CASR Part 141 - Recreational, private and commercial pilot flight training,other than certain integrated training courses
CASR Part 142 - Integrated and multi-crew pilot flight training, contractedrecurrent training and contracted checking
The regulations will be available on the ComLaw website in the coming days(following completion of the registration process on the Federal Register ofLegislative Instruments) http://www.comlaw.gov.au/WhatsNew
