BAK/PPL Exam Study Material
Hi,
Just a quick question.
I'm planning on gaining an Australian PPL later this year but am currently in the UK.
I have the AFE Jeremy Pratt PPL Study books used for the UK PPL but because your exams are slightly different over there I am wondering if I can use these books to prepare for the BAK and PPL exams?
Am I better off buying the Australian "Bob Tait" books?
If so can anyone point to a reasonable site in which I can purchase the necessary books as I'm keen to get revising.
Many thanks,
Greg

If you already hold a PPL in the UK you should only need to sit the PAOS exam (which is just air law) followed by a flight test. Search Rob Avery PAOS, he has a text book with practice exam questions.
If you don't already hold a PPL in the UK I suggest you finish it there first. I believe license conversion is much harder the other way around. (Not sure about PPL but CPL/ATPL certainly is)
