Blackhawks over Castle Hill NSW

Four or Five Blackhawks have been operating over Castle Hill since 1530 (now 2130), the night operations are without lights.

Very low altitude, probably about 500 to 1000 AGL yet no NOTAM?

Well who else would be down there at that time to get in the way?

Somebody had better report this to ASIO. Could be clandestine Chinese Operatives.

Our opinions obviously differ. For "very low" altitude, drop a couple of zero's and make it 5-10 ft.

What He Said

Not above 200 AGL. With four crew looking out on NVG and flight following, they are far safer than anyone else in that bit of sky. Very little chance of traffic conflict.
