Garmin 695 help
Hi - I have a Gamrin 695 and wanted to know how to hold on a particular waypoint within a flight plan, ie. I want to prevent the GPS from auto sequencing if I decide to hang around a particular airfield / waypoint before moving on to the next waypoint.
I can't find any refernece to it in the manual. During my MECIR (not that I intend on doing anything IFR with this GPS) training we used to activate the waypoint hold before we left the airfield just in case you wanted to use the CDI / OBS to get back to that waypoint if you know what I mean.
Any help would be appreciated.

Don't you just hit OBS? Once you go back to nav if should cycle like normal.
I'm only guessing because thats what you do at the hold to stop it from cycling onto the next waypoint.

Have another Garmin Question.
After making a FPL and entering the airspeed, the garmin used to give me ETE and leg ETE, in planning mode.
I did the 2012 update and then it stopped doing so. When I'm flying everything works well, but I miss my planning phase ETE feature. I also used to change the plan-speed, to check out if I'd run into some strong headwinds.
Maybe someone knows, it might be a wrong setting...?
