OZ ILS and LOC approaches

Hi folks,

I've been away for a while so i hope you can help me out.

Are there any cat 1 ILS approaches in Oz which DO NOT include a LOC app?

No. Except Wagga Wagga, all are controlled aerodromes.

Not sure what controlled airspace has to do with loc only approaches.

To .the best of my knowledge there are no ILS's that don't have LLZ approaches, there are LLZ approaches with no glideslope. E.g. cairns 33.

I remember the tower used to operate in Wagga some years ago... Maybe someone can fill in the date..

Don't forget there is a difference between a LOC approach and a LLZ approach!So which one do you mean?

LOC is the localiser and locators are now referred to as NDBs. LLZ no longer exists. Changed several years ago........
