C185 and PC7 Disposal

I know there are more than a few 185 enthusiasts on here; was sent this clipping via email, apparently the SAAF are disposing of their remaining C185s and a few surplus PC7MkIIs. I have seen R100,000 (about AUD15K I think) bandied around as a ball park figure for a 185, although that may just be guesswork. I do know that although the SAAF complied with civilian ADs at least until the early '90s a storage fire destroyed most of the paperwork so getting one of them onto the register is probably not going to be easy or cheap. That said, previous SAAF disposals were at fire sale prices and more than one T6 and AM3C Bosbok found their way over here, so there is probably a way to get one of these warbirds flying if keen enough.
