Jeppesen Chart change-Amendment 16-Anybody Notice this???
Guys,
I have been communicating with Jeppesen Aust about the following issue. If anyone else noticed this can you please contact Nathan at -- [email protected]
And let him know.
The issue- Noticed in Amendment 15 (small amendment) and definitely in16 (large amendment) many, if not all the new appch charts and all text only pages, looked like the dark "bolded" type effect was removed so the text looked like a very dark grey/ lighter thinner black. it certainly gave an obvious lighter look to the page in daylight.
Under low light or night conditions in a badly lit cockpit it would certainly make it harder to read especially given the very small font size used.
I thought this may be a deliberate change By Jepp and NOT a good one for the potential safety reason above so contacted them.
