Flying Solomons
Gday everyone,
Next year from march for a few months I'll be working in the Solomon islands(non flying job unfortunately) and I am looking for anyone in the area with a small plane used for scenic flights or even be hired for private flights. I know that not many people would be happy to let a low hour pilot like myself fly around a place like the solies but it's worth a shot asking.
I only know of Fly Solomons and a couple of helicopter charter companies that work in the area and I'm hoping someone could inform me of more if any or even a group of old fellas living out their retirement flying in the tropics that would be willing to fly me around the place.

To the best of my knowledge there are no lighties available for private hire in the Solomon Islands.
When I was last in Honiara, the only aircraft were a Baron and the Islander and Twin Otters of solomon airlines. Oh! and a slowly rotting Beech 18!!
