Vale Bruce Cann

Sad to report that Bruce Cann passed away last night after a long illness.

Bruce who we might all ask?

Bruce was not a commercial pilot or prominent aviator; just simply a private pilot based at Moorabbin who held a ME PIFR and who donated both his money and time to conduct some 150 Angel Flights throughout Victoria and NSW transporting rural and remote patients to and from capital city medical facilities in his Baron. There are many patients who owe their health to Bruce's extensive generosity.

Sometimes it is the ones who contribute behind the scenes without any fanfare who are the real heroes in life.

Mate, you did Angel Flights on the ground, now go fly with the Angels in the sky. You won't be forgotten.
