CASA ASIC returned
Trying to convert my NZ CPL under TTMRA
ASIC returned today stating there was missing info -
I had 1 PID sent (certified truecopy of my NZ passport)
and 2 TID sent (certified true copy of a certificate of bank balance)
and a signed original letter from my employer about the job.
How ever the letter was not signed by a JP - is this the problem? Do i need it signed as a original copy? the letter states that I am 'meant' to start employment with them in may and it is signed by my employers with my name and address on it. Does the letter need to be re worded or just simply certified as a original by a JP?
Many thanks,
NZcapt

NZCaptainAndrew,
Sorry you have had such dramas with what should be a relatively painless process. At this stage I feel I must again reiterate my previous advice. DO NOT APPLY THROUGH CASA FOR YOUR ASIC! There is no finer example of a bunch of useless cretins screwing up the process. I have quite an impressive folio of their cock ups.
Forget the CASA application and go straight through either Aviation ID Australia or Security ID Both these organisations are fast, friendly, and efficient and not staffed by brain dead public servants.
