Unfortunately this Muppet is well versed in this sort of thing he knows his rights and laws and how far he can push them.
Then he should be well placed to present to council the facade of the perfect citizen..i doubt he could maintain it for long when pressed tho.

He is also a jorno for the Singleton Argus. He is well conected to various people in Council. He also gets on every protest group in the area including those that are good development. Continually objects to any business development with in the village or immeadiate area.
I read that as, he objects to any idea that offers locals the oppurtunity to cash in an threaten his own idea of financial supremecy.

Recently reported in the Argus on the 15th by another jorno about an application for Australian Skydiving to commence operations at Whittingham airstrip
[ There were twelve objections from nearby residents main concern noise and potential livestock injury. Defence dept had a whinge. but later verbally retracted.
Thats is the funniest thing I have heard today...livestock injury DoD won;t hold an objection for long. Civilian drop zones are valuable to them for training purposes.

Now it has also been reported that singleton council is just about broke and should be in deficit before end of June. Due to huge court cost against Dep Mayor. I think i have just about worked out how much the Muppet has cost rate payers with his continual objections and crap over the years. and i should be able to swing council that if the whole thing don't stop we will go to court if needed to get the restrictions off the clubs operations. Slowly people are realising just how much income is put back into the area and we are winning them over slowly. wheels are in motion. we have 300 members and a skydiving community of over 6000. should get point or two across with that.
I am not a skydiving fan by any measure. I've done 2 jumps under mushie chute's for training purposes. One thing that I have learned is that a well run dropzone WILL bring economic benefits to the local area. Smartly run, the pundits get their thrill, and local business gains extra clientele. The money droppers are willing to part with can bring HUGE economic benefit.

You gotta get people to recognise that this guy is against any sort of progress, or work out what they want.

A couple of years ago I had the oppurtunity to buy some property up on the murray bank. I obviously wanted to put a strip on it. I had loads of community objection. However, if i was able to make it long enough for an RFDS Kingair 350 and light it, all that objection would be withdrawn.
I could have at the time met the lighting, but not the length. So don't own an airfield.

Community needs to see the benefit of the strip, when they do serial muppets not adequatly controlled will be forced to the back of the pack
