Thats as bad as saying, just because i am paranoid doesn't mean my employee's aren't looking for greener pastures.

Going with mach for now, its a conspiracy.
Percentage based, there wouldn't be that many J31/32 qual captains in the country.

Sounds like the employer is digging for an infidel.

J31/32 Statistics

Origin Pacific - 3x J31, 3 x J32 - gone
O'Connor Airlines - 3x J32 - gone
Tasair 1x J31 - gone

Aeroplelican 5x J32 - still going but losing money on routes in competition with other airlines.

Why would anybody in their right mind start an operation with a 18/19 seat plane that makes a lot of noise, is uncomfortable, can't go far and has no flight attendant.
Unless they are able to offer extremely low fairs and a schedule that suits a lot people, they are not going to make money. The running costs of a J31/32 compared to the J41 or even a SAAB or an ATR are not that much different.

Did anyone end up applying to this mysterious group? If so, has anyone heard back and have details, like interviews dates, start dates, routes, the actual company trading name etc?

How about Aero Pelican Aeropelican Air Services - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia which has merged with Brindabella Airlines and has a controlling stake Brindabella Airlines - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia?

And this notice:

MG, not wanting to offend, but why would an established company with a dedicated recruitment procedure suddenly use a gmail account with no reference to company name for applicants?

I was either working for or corresponding with each of these entities (Pelican and the mystery airline) at the time this thread started.

Although I don't know who the mystery group is, I am fairly certain it isn't Brindapelican.

Cheers
