Tiger Airways OZ will be announcing and recruiting (March) for their second HUB, anyone knows what the terms and conditions of employment will be for DEC ?
How many more A/Cs are they getting?

New hub will be Byron Bay, Queensland.

DEC can expect base pay AUD250,000 pa + 12.5% super and 8 weeks annual leave. Company car (after 2 week probationary period), commuting rights (1st Class travel) to/from Europe and UK and 12 RDOs / block month.

Four bedroom home on beachfront but no swimming pool (bummer).

That of course is the nett figure as the Company pays all tax
on your behalf?

I'd be ok with only one BMW but its still no go without that
bloody swimming pool!

You're right Roger.
Bae 146 forgot the additional A320 aircraft. I believe 3 more A320s and all based at Byron. No departures earlier than 0930 hrs due to Pinkos insisting on curfew and arrivals no later than 1800 hrs, again due to Pinko curfew. Of course only the Byron Bay based DECs will crew these aircraft and Slasher, I hear on the grapevine, if the DECs really push the swimming pool, they'll get it in their contract. Supply and demand you know......................who's going to sign up for this crap!!!!

Not a problem Roger Greendeck, you get that with PPRUNE, that is: frustrated people !
I was only asking a simple question about Tiger OZ, if no one has any info I will try to get it another way.

Personally I don't understand the reason of wasting time posting some crap response on a thread, but that's just me….

They are sticking to 10 aircraft, i imagine they need to utilise the 2-3 they dont use each day. They average 6-7 aircraft a day with the schedule. As per pay their EBA has been approved so it would be available for public view throu the federal wage website.

As for recruitment, they have good numbers in melbourne for now, i imagine the base, most likely options syd or bne would command maybe 2 or 3 of the planes sitting around in melbourne, more FO's as command upgrades are in the process...

does that help?

Because they don't know anything about the topic, but feel the world has to listen to them anyway.

Conditions?

The short answer is the conditions will be whatever you are willing to bend over for and take.
