RAAF Amberley 2012

Seems as though it's around 4 years between drinks, following an Olympic cycle 2004 (Athens), 2008 (Beijing)....what will the RAAF have in store for us this year Amberley 2012?

Being Civvy, making my way around Amberley every 4 yrs is always an absolute pleasure & privilege......

Here (Above) at 01:30 is something we won't be seeing, or even feeling, as I well remember the heat (Heat well over & above that which is 'Ippy' at that time of year) but the heat from the dump & burn!!

Anyone out there know what might be planned??

I heard the Wedgetail's fuel dump masts are being redirected to CFM-56 exhaust to replicate the F-111's only claim to operational fame.

Not sure if its true.
