Chopper crash at Mangalore

ABC are reporting a helicopter crash at Mangalore approx 12.30pm with two fatilities.
No other details at this time.

ABC evening news described it as a Gyrocopter.

An aerial view of the wreckage put it approx 100-150 M short of the runway.

Definately a Gyro, the Gyro association folk from up here are on their way down to assist in the police inquies.

I did not realise the gun Gyro guys were from YCAB

Apparently the instructor was a long term and well respected Gyro guy so it will be a huge hit in the Gyro community.
