ATPL Law Exam

Hi,

I've been trying to find the following, does anybody know the references?

1. LAHSO Operations (In particular the MET minima for this ie visibility) I have read through CAO 40.4(4) which details all the training etc but nothing about met minima...

2. International Alternates, references for when an International flight must carry an alternate?

Thanks!

LAHSO is on ATC AU-722. Probably ENR 1.1 somewhere in the ASA docs.

Met related only

LAHSO may be conducted subject to the following conditions:
c. The cieling is not less than 1000ft and visibility is not less than 5000m.
h. When the runway conditions are damp or wet, the braking characteristics must be assessed as good by the captain of an aircraft in the same performance category prior to the landing aircraft being instructed to hold short
i. the landing aircraft will not be instructed to hold short when low level wind shear of intensity greater than light is reported.

There are several more paragraphs on the full conditions required.
