Warburton International Airport?

Passed through the airport recently... Warburton International Airport? Are they classed as an international airport?

You don't think the sign is a little tongue-in-cheek?

I'm surprised you were able to get a chance to take that photo, how much of the aircraft was left when you turned back around?

Kings Creek station (near Uluru) had an "International" airport last time I was there.

I over-nighted at Warburton many times between 98 and 08.

Never once had a problem with locals interfering with the aircraft, despite the parking area being right alongside the community.

I think they know better than to 'bite the hand that feeds'.

That can't be a very recent picture, the sign has been taken back to KG for a freshen up, might even be back there by now?
