Wanted C210 and/or C206.....

Hi there everybody, I'm trying to find a C210 or C206 preferably around the Melbourne or Albury areas (but anywhere will do) available for hire.
I am hoping that some of you who may have larger networks than i may know something that i haven't been able to find out.

Any information is much appreciated.

I'm sure you would find something further south but you did say anywhere...

There is a C206 at Redcliffe - $440 dual - $350 private hire on tacho.
Require 5 hours dual for insurance purposes if you have no hours on 200 series.

There is also a C210 at Caboolture but I don't know the costs etc on that one.

Caboolture is a bit of a trek.....................

Pearsons at Essendon used to have a 210 available (xhire possibly)

Worth a call there...ignore the website.

Cheers big ears

This one needs some drying out and the wheel needs to be re-attached, but otherwise, she's good to go!

Jase,

The one at persons, VH-DNP, I saw in the Bluewater hangar up in Townsville.

But there is one in albury for survey. Or try near map. They are buzzing around in 210s.

C210/C206

As 345789 pointed out, what do you intend to do with the aircraft? I have an early model C210 and C206 that could be used depending on purpose in the Sydney area. PM me for more details.

Thanks for all the help everyone!
It seems i have forgotten to mention the reason behind hunting down these aircraft.
I am wanting to do some initial familiarisation flights and hour building, around 10 or so hours.
I am wanting experience to help me with that all illusive first flying job, i am aware it's not the ideal time for job hunting with wet season fast approaching but got to be persistent and prepared.

Be aware that the early models (A to C) are significantly different from the later ones. The are basically just stretched 182s with what must be the weirdest gear door system ever on a single. To impress prospective employers you'd probably be better off getting your hours in a later (G onwards) model.

If you are going to pay for 206 time, why not do it on floats and get another ticket in your book?

Cloud 9 Seaplanes up at the Gold Coast do a 206 float endorsement. Combine a holiday and training at the same time.
