Volunteering in Aviation

My weekday employer, one of the big 4 banks, provides me with two paid volunteer days per year. There is a program through work with plenty of opportunities to take advantage of this, but as you would expect none are aviation related. I am able to put forward other suggestions, the only requirement is that being it provides a community service.

Melbourne based is best, but happy to travel if needed. I've got a CPL and work part-time flying a Yak 52 and Tiger Moth. Unfortunately I don't have free access to an aircraft and don't have the $$$ to hire.

I'd like to able to use these days to do a bit of work for the aviation community. So I put it to the pprune brains trust to provide suggestions.

Drive as an Earth Angel for AngelFlight. Sign up here then pick a mission (drive) that fits with your available days. You might also be able to pick up a "right hand seat" flight with an experienced pilot.

The Avalon Airshow is also staffed substantially by volunteers, the next airshow is 26/2/2013 - 3/3/2013. The call for volunteers for 2013 will be made some time in 2012. Volunteer enquires can be made here,

What about I think it's called "Fun Flight?" I know that Tyabb (Peninsula Aero Club) are involved in this every year. That would likely fit the bill.
