A good start to a flying career or wonderful sport for pilots to enjoy.
However if continuing with cross-country or competition flying is your aim then Southern Cross is limited by both location and mindset. You need to move inland to enjoy great soaring in Australia, Narromine, Lake Keepit, Temora, Corowa, Benalla, Waikerie, the WA wheat belt and the Darling Downs are the places to fly. [for Sydneysiders Bathurst is a good compromise]
