Not a bad buggy. I have about 300 hours on it. The one I flew did an honest 230kt at 10,000ft avery time (with the pod) and off memory (it was over 10 years ago) about 500lbs/hr burn. I loved it but they are of limited use due to the lack of pressurisation. Even say 2 or 3 psi would be better than nothing but still great for its intended use.
They use the Titan fuse matched to the Conquest II wing.

What was with the max cruise power tables in the AFM?
Nowhere near max temp, Ng or Tq limits when complying with the tables. Missing something?
230 with pod? Thats better than the one I flew.

Are your Q's for me, not sure? Off memory we ran 740 ITT which is a standard company limit and reduction from 800. Either 1700 or 1800rpm, again too long ago now. As I still have my POH I'll dig it out and see what the book says they can do but not tonight as I'm off to bed! Give me a day or two.

Maybe that's per side GG!
Can't understand why you'd build a cabin class machine with turboprops but no pressurisation, that's probably why they only built 97 of them!

I can remember cadging a lift in one going from Nairobi down to Fields in Harare. This would have been just after 'Blackhawk Down', the owner of the company was taking it down for maintenance.
He was a Somali and doing very well out of the conflict... like many others he was using them to fly mirrah into Mogadishu.
He was rapidly building a fleet and I think he was getting a new one down from France every few weeks.
Word was that his bank manager was surprised to discover he had the largest fleet in the world. Jamah Blue ..... ?
I am sure others here will know more of him and his story.
Many aircraft were flying out of Nairobi, Wilson, every morning. I think it was about 3 hours up to Mogadishu, - they all would be well loaded with the vegetation. Chieftains, King Air and 406 being common types used.
