Tristar - Moorabbin

Hi All,

I'm just after some information on Tristar Aviation at Moorabbin.
I did a search and the only things that come up were very old.

Does any one Learn here? Fly here?
I am looking for any information i can get as i am wanting to start my CPL.
Planes? Instructors? Organisation? Facilities?

Thanks in advance!

I had a look at tristar when I was looking for a school. They seem to be the cheaper option, but only if u pay upfront!

I ended up choosing MFT, they seem to take care of you better.

Is that a good thing?

I've flown with Tristar on the odd occasion and I have nothing bad to say about them, however their fleet does appear to be older than some but this appears to be reflected in their prices. In their defence they have been around for quite a while now and they do have their fair share of foreign students which seems to be a sign of a healthy school at Moorabbin. If they are asking for up-front payment though, .
