Aviation Art: RV-10 VH-LNL

Photo of my latest painting. Acrylic on stretched canvas 40cm x 50cm.

Maybe some Ppruners may know of this aircraft or it's owner.

It's nice to see an artist paint a full prop blur disc effect.

Many of them paint a slightly buzzy (almost frozen) blade, simply because they know it's a three blader (or whatever). Looks like you are painting what you see, rather than what you know - which is the best method. Well done

Thanks Runaway,

Many aircraft paintings I've seen have been spoilt because the artist puts a little 'moustache' in place of a prop arc. I gather you are into the wonderful world of art?

No, can't say I have seen that one before, but you have captured its relative lack of forward motion quite nicely!

Hello Forkie,

When the gentleman picked this piece up he remarked how much prettier & faster than a bonanza it is.

OK, so maybe I have seen it before!

Nice work AS! You have even got all the signwriting. Apparently Retard Vehicle pilots can't remember what type of aircraft they are flying.

Serg.....no just a camera being pointed back. But on a couple of other recorded images there has been!

I have to say the two pieces I picked up tonight look awesome , and are better in real life on the wall.

Aye Ess you have seriously impressed me, and when it comes to art, I need a lot to get get a second look out of, let alone impress me.

Aye Ess

Well done on this one too! Hard to see all the finer detail in an iPhone pic, but this is amazing also! Will make the owner of this one happy no doubt when he returns from Europe.
