Tiger Moth down near Toowoomba [Aero Club}

Pair escape Toowoomba ranges plane crash
Updated 2 hours 24 minutes ago

MAP: Toowoomba 4350
Two people have had a lucky escape after their small plane crashed in the Toowoomba ranges, in south-east Queensland.

Authorities are at the scene and officers say their biplane landed upside down in bushland near Table Top Mountain.

A medical team winched down to the heavily wooded scene found one person with only minor injuries and another with more serious injuries.

The first person was able to walk from the wreckage.

It is not immediately known if the plane was involved in any search and rescue activities connected to the Queensland floods.

Tiger Moth

Out of respect for those injured and the ongoing investigations I really dont think this is the right place to be commenting just yet guys. Both men are really well known to me as is the aircraft.

All wil be revealed in good time.
