Help Choosing A Flying School in Melbourne

Hi guys, this is my first post but I've been trying to find out as much as I can via search engine.

I'm looking to do my CPL somewhere in Melbourne. I have a friend at NAT but I'm not sure about the schools at Essendon. Moorabbin is on the cards and was wondering if anybody is currently training there? If so could you please give me some up to date info on the schools? I've also been looking at Melton Air Services. Anybody know much about this school? I know it's a lot cheaper which is a bonus but not always a better option. Would it be feasible to get my PPL there and then move to a bigger school for the rest of my training? I want to eventually fly Corporate Jets........One day hehe.

Thanks in advance for any help guys!

Cheers.

I have been through most of those already. There just doesn't seem to be much info regarding Melton. I was hoping that maybe someone has or is currently flying there.

There used to be a sticky on here warning people like yourself about the value in asking such questions on here.

Someone will say it's the best flying school and airport ever.
Someone else will say that Moorabbin is better.

Then the owners or instructors from said flying school will register and harp on about how good the school.

You are not going to get a balanced opinion!

I understand that. Just thought I'd ask on here and see if someone could enlighten me a little. I've already booked in times to visit various schools so as to get a better feel for them. No harm in trying.

Then, you are doing the correct thing, finding a school that suits you.
