Does anyone have any details? The weather must have been pretty bad.

One of H.A's 404 Titans. Looks like HNM rego from a distant photo. Over ran what looks like RW 04 at Garden Point (1315m). Lots of rain yesterday. The damage to aircraft looks bad. Nose wheel collapsed / 2 bent props and lots of ripples under nose locker and cabin fire wall. Sorry I don't have the photos.

Garden Point. Aircraft may have a big "H" on the tail. Apparently missing nose gear. Frequent missed approaches on the RNAVs into BTI/GPT/SNB that day, rather shoddy conditions - can't say whether this was a contributing factor to the overrun or not.

Thanks for that ZB.

My memory of Garden Point is that there was always a cross-wind with wind shear on short final. Always found it hard to do a good landing there but perhaps that was just me.
