Airline Pilot Nav Bag
Hi there.
In the market for a hard (non-synthetic) pilot's nav bag. Have been a fan of the bag style that have the telescopic handle on the sides of the bag (rather than the top) but I understand they haven't been in production for some time. Ideally I'd like the opening flaps at the top (suitable for Airbus).
Can anyone please guide me in where I might find one at a reasonable price?
Cheers

The one in the link looks exactly like my old one. I guess the drawback is it takes up a little more room to lug about, unlike the ones with the telescopic handles at the side.
However, most people are using iPads these days.

I bought one 5 years ago at STRANDBAGS.... not quite similar, but it holds everything I need it to, and more,,,, including laptop, manuals passports etc... for $90 AUD.....
not leather, but that luggagey type material that is now in favour.... has wheels and a telescoping handle.

Just bought a Solo "rolling laptop catalog case" from Bagworld - where Australia buys its bags . Might be what you're after.
PS - that Bagworld slogan appeared automatically when I typed the url. I don't get paid by them...

I've never seen anything I like in the way of a pilots bag/case. I am always on the look out for the traditional flight case that's smaller than the std size 19 inch, hard to find they are. They where popular years ago with Airline drivers but I simply don't see them advertised anymore here in Aussie outlets. Anything else these is an adaptation of a computer bag or is a dedicated soft flight bag more aimed at the recreational driver.
Each to their own I guess.

Folks,
For the traditional pilot bags, Google Scott Leather, is Arizona, as I recall.
Not cheap, but as close as you will get to indestructible --- as I can testify.
Tootle pip!!
