Mayday - Good outcomes

There have been three forced landings in WA due to 'engine failure' of sorts over about the last week. Thankfully, relatively good outcomes.

Very timely of chopper 'Rescue 65' to be returning to Geraldton at the same time as the C150 in trouble today. They intercepted and followed them down to a successful paddock landing only about a mile short of the airport. Well done to the guys in both machines!

I was listening from the comfort of my seat in the flight levels and it was a good cool, calm and collected series of communications between all parties. A relief to hear the good news that everyone was safe.

It might be completely irrelevant, but with all the rain lately, make sure you drain your tanks well guys (and gals)!
