Secir To Mecir

Hi All,

does anyone know what would be involved in converting a SECIR into a MECIR ? (no aircraft endorsements would be required.)

Would it just be a short flight test in a twin ?

Thanks for the help.

You would first need to do approaches with engine failures, obviously only 1 engine failure at a time, and don't think there would be too much more if you already have a twin endo.

Pretty simple mate, just do it in a twin next time and let the ATO do the paperwork with your input of course. You must do an engine failure in the missed approach in addition to elsewhere. Look at the test form.
