King Island Air

Can anyone tell me what King Island Air's minimums are for their PA31s?

A local told me 1500 hours, but I thought this was a bit steep.

Cheers, P

There is a difference between their minimums - i.e. to satisfy their insurance and their minimums - i.e. what's the number they need to see before considering your for an interview.

KIA, being Melbourne based RPT, are VERY not short of applicants - for reasons I suspect are similar to your own, and they do offer progression onto the bandit (when it's working) - hence very popular hence able to pick and choose.

1500 sounds about right but I'd say you'd need 100-200mecmd before you get a look in. There are a lot of instructors at MB who would be trying to get a job there so there would be no shortage of resumes on the desk.
