...then start at the back (ie highest marks, longest q's) and work backwards.
I did this and didn't like it. The first (last) question took nearly 30 minutes which made me panic and start rushing. In the end I finished with 20 minutes to spare and could've spent more time on the longer ones.
Agree AerocatS2A. I did it the other way and think it is a better way to do it. I did the 1,2,3 point questions first and had done something like 50% of the marks in 25% of the time. This took the time pressure right off for the big questions, and they DO take up more time than their marks indicate they should.
Having said that I found the Irex exam the worst as my online course had no GPS TSO or related questions so had no real idea when I could and couldn't use a TSO129 GPS for no DME descents etc. Passed but it was the worst.

I enjoyed IREX. Aced it. Found it interesting.
AGK and FP hey Hoff, yep that says it all.
Air Law is another I liked. You gotta be quick on that one! Bit of a challenge.
The process I think is a bit back to front. You do all this study and don't really have any working understanding of it which makes it even harder. I reckon I'd understand or get more out of it now. Having said that I've got no desire to sit any exams ever again (apart from the sims upgrades etc).

I did Flight Planning First failed it twice because of many errors in my calculations, then did the AFT course with Nathin and problem solved 100%
Then after FP I found systems just as hard
The rest where easier..

Self studied (using AFT materials) all subjects, failed flight planning. Did the Higgins course and obtained a good pass. FP was the hardest exam to pass due the long questions and 'averaged' answers. Without the double checking techniques that Nathan provided most answers were a 50/50 guess.
